Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2022 Eligibility
|
Constable (WO/ WT/ OPR)
- 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examinations to apply for the post.

Constable (UB)
- HSSLC or Class- XII Passed from a recognized Board or Council.
|
Constable (Messenger)
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV,MMV & HMV etc.
|
Constable (Carpenter)
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
|
Constable (Dispatch Rider)
- HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV,MMV & HMV etc.

Asstt. Squad Commander
- Class-XII passed or equivalent (Science) having Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.

Driver (Operator)
- Class VIII passed and must possess valid driving license for HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized Authority (Assam State only)

Physical Efficiency Test

Male & Transgender Candidates
|
- Race : Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).
- Long Jump : Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks)

- Race : Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600 metres race to be completed within 08 minutes.
- Long Jump : Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks)
