Delhi Guest Teacher Eligibility
|
(1) PGT / Lecturer (English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Commerce, Economics) :
- Post graduate degree in the subject concerned from a recognized university with B. Ed.
|
(2) TGT :
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Honours / Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University having secured 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level :- English / Mathematics / Natural / Physical Science / Social Science.
- Bachelor of Education from a recognized university.
- CTET (Paper -II Secondary Level) conducted by CBSE.

(2.1) TGT English :
- English as main subject at Graduation level with one of the following subjects: – History / Pol. Science / Economics / Commerce /geography / Agriculture / Horticulture.

(2.2) TGT Mathematics :
- Mathematics as main subject with one of the following as second subject- Chemistry / Physics / biology / botany / Computer Science / Zoology / English / Commerce / History / Pol. Science / English / Geography / Statistics / Agriculture.
|
(2.3) TGT Natural Science :
- Two or one of the following as main subjects at Graduation level:- Physics / biology / botany / Chemistry / Zoology
- The second subject can be from amongst the following also: 1. Mathematics 2. English 3. Computer Science 4. Statistics

(3) TGT Special Education Teacher :
- Graduate with (a) B. Ed. Special Education or (b) .Ed with two years diploma in special education or (c) Post graduate diploma in special Education or (d) any other equivalent qualification approved by the RCI.
- CTET (Paper -II Secondary Level) conducted by CBSE.
- Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India.

(4) Educational and Vocational Guidance Counsellor (EVGC) :
- Master’s degree in psychology from a recognized university or institution with
- Diploma in Guidance and counselling from a recognized university.

Important Instructions
|
- The order of Merit list shall be displayed on the departmental website.
- State wise panel will be prepared on the basis of academic merit separately for each category.
- The certificate of OBC should be issued by Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
- Certificate issued by any State/UT will be considered for SC/ST candidates.
- As soon as a regular teacher joins the school, the Guest Teacher concerned will be dis-engaged from that school.
