NTA UGC NET May 2021 Eligibility
|
- Passed / Appeared Master Degree in Concerned Subject with at Least Minimum 55% Marks for UR Candidates and 50% Marks for SC / ST / OBC Candidates.

UGC NET May 2021 Selection Process
|
- Mode of Examination: The Examination shall be conducted as the Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
- Pattern: The test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between papers.
- Time Duration: Both paper – 03 Hours
|
Paper I: 100 Marks: 50 Questions
|
| MCQ: The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. |
Paper-II: 200 Marks: 100 Questions
|
| This is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge. |

- The photograph must be taken on or after 01.10.2020 preferably indicating clearly the name of a candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. A photograph should not be with cap or goggles.
- The candidate should put his full signature in running handwriting on white paper with Black Ink pen and scan for uploading.
